Frank Lloyd Wright inspired generations of architects, not only with his designs, but in his approach to every project.
In nearly seventy years of active architectural design and building projects, Wright drew on many schools of thought and was inspired by people, places, and things as disparate as Mayan art, farming, and concrete.
Frank Lloyd Wright was given enormous creative freedom in designing the S.C. Johnson Wax headquarters and administrative buildings. (The Lily Pad construction tested Racine's Building Commission!) The resulting buildings are imaginative and very distinct. As intricate as Frank Lloyd Wright's designs are, the Little Building Co. model carefully and accurately reproduced and scaled them to provide an enjoyable experience for model builders.
