"I ordered it and built it.....fun to build and really easy and quick.....excellent details."

Made famous in the original Ghostbusters movie, this iconic building is located in the Manhattan neighborhood of Tribeca. It is a working firehouse and its firefighters were one of the first responders to the September 11 attacks.
The building, NY Fire Department’s Hook & Ladder Company 8, was first used for exterior shots in the 1984 Ghostbusters movie and has appeared in subsequent films in the franchise. It has also appeared in the movie Hitch and several TV shows including Seinfeld.
Built in 1903 in the Beaux-Arts style, it was originally twice the size but half was demolished when the adjoining street was widened. There is sometimes a full-size replica of the Ghostbusters sign hanging on the outside of the building and inside are enlarged photos from the films.
Our model is finely detailed, and is designed and manufactured by Gin & Apathy in Melbourne, Australia.
Nicely packaged, the Ghostbusters Firehouse kit comes with clear, easy to follow instructions and is the ideal gift for that architect friend, movie buff, or even for you!
